Imagine Communications Extends Ad-ID Integration with Landmark Agency 5.0

Imagine Communications announced that it is integrating its Landmark Agency system with Ad-ID, the advertising industry standard developed by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As) and the ANA (Association of National Advertisers) for identifying advertising assets across all media platforms. Ad-ID integration allows an agency to create a unique Ad-ID code in the Ad-ID system and to import the information into their Landmark Agency buying and production systems – without mistakes or redundant data entry. The shared import brings over Ad-ID code information, advertiser, commercial activity dates, and other details, making the data available for use in national, local and multimedia planning and buying modules. In addition to the Ad-ID integration and other enhancements, Landmark Agency 5.0 provides support for the change in the Nielsen ratings service broadcast day to 3:00 AM, which was designed to support the capture of early morning news programming on the day it aired. Landmark Agency 5.0 is currently in beta testing and will be available later in the fall.

4A's Appoints Todd Hittle for Dual Role of CFO/COO

4A's announce its newest executive, Todd Hittle, who will take on the dual role of CFO/COO. Hittle brings strong operational and strategic leadership experience and a successful track record of re-engineering business models and recruiting and managing high-performing talent. Hittle replaces the outgoing CFO/COO Laura Bartlett, who has retired after seven stellar years in the dual role. During her tenure, Bartlett served as a trusted leader, successfully seeing the organization through the recession, an ongoing reorganization and a relocation into a new space. Most recently, Hittle served as general manager and CFO of ABM, an association that represents the business media and information industry, where he worked for five years. Prior to that, he held several leadership roles while at the Nielsen Company for some 14 years.

The American Association of Advertising Agencies Names Linda Woolley as President and CEO of Trustworthy Digital Supply Chain Initiative

The American Association of Advertising Agencies announced that Linda Woolley has been named president and CEO of TAG (Trustworthy Digital Supply Chain Initiative), the joint marketing-media industry program to eradicate digital advertising fraud, malware, ad-supported piracy, and other deficiencies in the digital communications supply chain. The IAB, ANA, and 4A's announced their joint plans to create the new collective organization at the IAB MIXX Conference in September 2014. The group will operationalize principles around these critical issues, monitor the ecosystem for compliance, and develop incentives for broad industry participation and consequences for untrustworthy actors. Woolley was a member of the Advertising Self-Regulatory Council's board of directors from 2012 to 2014. Her extensive leadership experience includes nearly six years in executive roles at the Direct Marketing Association.
