The Texas Hospital Association Announces 2015 Board of Trustees

The Texas Hospital Association has elected its 2015 Board of Trustees. New members and officers officially began their terms on Jan. 1. C. David Huffstutler, FACHE, president and CEO of St. David's HealthCare in Austin becomes chairman. John Henderson, CEO of Childress Regional Medical Center is chairman-elect. Gary Brock, president and chief operating officer of Baylor Health Care System in Dallas, becomes immediate past chairman. New or reappointed trustees elected to serve three-year terms include: Karen Barber, RN, Yoakum Community Hospital, Jeffrey L. Canose, M.D., FACHE, Texas Health Resources, Arlington, Sally A. Sadau, FACHE, CHRISTUS Health, Irving, Robert L. Walker, FACHE, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Dallas, Stephen Sibbitt, M.D., FACP, Baylor Scott & White Health, Temple, Trustees ratified to fill unexpired two-year terms include: Frederick P. Davis of Methodist Health System in Dallas) will serve as ex-officio members. In addition to the THA officers, Asprec, Canose, Cerise, Cowling, Durovich, Matney, Reeve and Turner will serve one-year terms as at-large members of the THA Executive Committee.
