Sanjel Adds Horsepower and Biofuel Units to North American Fracturing Fleet

Sanjel Corporation announced the addition of horsepower to its North American operations, bringing the Company's current hydraulic fracturing horsepower (HHP) to 460,000. Sanjel will continue to add HHP this year to its fracturing fleet which will bring the Company's total North American HHP to 535,000 by the end of 2014. In addition, Sanjel is implementing the Caterpillar Dynamic Gas Blending (DGB) technology on its existing CAT 3512C fleet and its new additions as a way to further optimize its operations. The CAT DGB is a dual fuel technology that uses special CAT hardware to allow CAT 3512C engines to burn natural gas blended with diesel. With low natural gas prices, the process significantly lowers fuel costs by replacing up to 70% of diesel fuel with natural gas.
