Silego Technology Brings GreenPAK™ Programmable Mixed-Signal Matrix

Silego Technology announced the SLG46169V and SLG46170V GreenPAK™ Programmable Mixed-signal Matrix, further expanding Silego's platform of Configurable Mixed-signal ICs (CMICs). The SLG46169V and SLG46170V allow engineers to design custom Mixed-signal circuits using integrated, configurable digital logic and timing resources and, in the case of the SLG46169V, two analog comparators. These devices are well suited for integrating common functions like system reset, power sequencing, glue logic, LED control and more, all with zero code. Minimizing board space and component count, these devices increase system stability and reduce points of failure. All this functionality comes in the compact 2.0 x 2.2 mm, 14-pin STQFN. Like other devices in the GreenPAK family, development of the SLG46169V and SLG46170V projects takes advantage of the easy-to-use GreenPAK development hardware and simple GUI interface of GreenPAK Designer, allowing engineers to quickly and easily implement new designs and respond to changing design requirements. Target applications include, but are not limited to: Consumer Electronics; Industrial; Telecom; Internet of Things; and Wearables.

Silego Technology Inc. announced that John Teegen has been named its Chief Executive Officer and President, and a member of its Board of Directors. In addition, Ilbok Lee, who previously served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, will continue his position on the Board and will serve as executive chairman where he will focus on technology roadmaps, intellectual property development and investment opportunities. Teegen has more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Before joining Silego, Teegen held executive management positions at Kovio Inc., NeoPhotonics Corporation, MMC Networks Inc. (AMCC), Intellon Corporation (QCOM), VLSI Technology, Inc. (NXP) and Advanced Micro Devices, where he began his career. He was the VP of Sales at MMC Networks during its 1997 IPO and VP of Business Development during its acquisition by AMCC in 2000. Teegen was VP of Sales Intellon and NeoPhotonics prior to their respective IPOs.

Silego Technology, Inc. announced the SLG46533V GPAK™ 5, further expanding Silego’s industry leading platform of Configurable Mixed-signal ICs (CMICs). This latest generation device, including Silego’s new I2C block, introduces even more flexibility, functionality, and ease of design to the NVM programmable GPAK family of devices. The addition of I2C enables designers to read and change device configuration, such as analog comparator thresholds, on-the-fly. The I2C block can also act as a digital IO expander. Included in the SLG46533V are improved Counter/Delay blocks, featuring one-shot and frequency detect modes, as well as the capability to drive an external crystal oscillator. These new functionalities, along with the configurable digital and analog blocks seen in previous generations of GPAK, are all packed into a tiny 2.0 x 3.0 mm 20-pin STQFN with 18-GPIO. Like other devices in the GPAK family, development of SLG46533V projects takes advantage of the easy-to-use GPAK development hardware and simple GUI interface of GPAK Designer, allowing engineers to quickly and easily implement new designs and respond to changing design requirements. Unique to this latest generation, designers now have the ability to perform on-board emulation, within their design, using I2C. Target applications include, often in combination: GPIO Expander; Power Sequencing; Voltage monitoring; LED Control; Glue logic; Timing adjustments; Watchdog Timer.
