WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems Offers Top-Load High Efficiency Washers to Customers
Jul 15 14
WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems now offers a choice of top-load high efficiency washers (HEW) for its customers seeking a lower-priced machine with a lower environmental impact. The company provides the new machines from manufacturers such as Speed Queen and Maytag. An ENERGY STAR rated machine, top-load HEWs prevent greenhouse gas emissions by meeting strict energy-efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. As with all of company's equipment, the machines are designed to withstand the rigors of use in the multifamily laundry room and commercial setting. The company's top-load HEWs offer numerous environmental advantages and cost-efficiencies for multifamily laundry rooms. They conserve water use per cycle, resulting in savings on both water and sewer costs. And, the machine's larger tub capacity allows for larger loads, which means users can wash more with the same amount of water and energy. The machines function with a fast-spin speed and automatic balance system that requires less energy to dry clothes. Furthermore, temperature controls reduce the use of hot water and the energy needed to heat it. The machines also feature low voltage control with LED indicators to minimize the amount of electricity required to operate the machine.
