This is the first Twitter search product created with the enterprise software company in mind, dramatically improving the service that social analytics providers can offer their customers. Realtime access to Twitter data is great for tracking predictable topics, but it's often the unexpected things happening on Twitter that are the most interesting. By providing instant and complete access to Twitter data, Gnip is enabling realtime marketers to react quickly to events on Twitter, CRM providers to better serve their customers and business intelligence companies to create new products for brands and agencies. Gnip's Search API for Twitter is available as part of Gnip's suite of enterprise products created to make social data complete, reliable and sustainable.
Gnip Becomes Exclusive Provider of Klout Topics

Gnip partnered with Klout to become the exclusive provider of Klout Topics, as well as the exclusive distributor of commercially licensed Klout data, allowing Gnip customers to confidently leverage Klout data in enterprise grade social data applications. As part of this new agreement, Gnip will make Klout Topics exclusively available to its customers. Providing Klout Topics adds context to Klout Scores showing not only how influential someone is online but also the areas in which they have the most influence, and now Gnip's customers will have access to almost 400 million scored Klout profiles and approximately 7,000 Klout Topics. For Gnip's customers providing CRM and online engagement solutions, this data provides invaluable, actionable insight about inbound leads, customer service inquiries and interactions with fans. Gnip will be introducing its Klout offering, which includes Klout Topics in addition to Scores as well as commercial licensing terms that provide the ability for companies to store data longer than Klout's standard seven days. Gnip now exclusively offers its customers permission to archive Klout data consumed via Gnip's Twitter data streams and use it for historical analysis in addition to realtime use cases.
