Atlantic Cape Community College Announces Executive Promotions

Atlantic Cape Community College's Board of Trustees hired a new dean of resource development, president/board of trustee operations, and promoted 12 faculty when the group met in regular session May 26 at the Cape May County Campus. Jean McAlister of Galloway will be promoted to dean, resource development, president/board of trustee operations, effective July 1. McAlister has been employed at the college since 1994 in various capacities, most recently as associate dean of continuing education operations and business development since 2007. The board made the following appointments: Victoria DeLaurentis of Folsom, assistant director, financial aid, effective July 1, 2015; John Heenan of Egg Harbor Township, assistant professor, criminal justice, effective August 24, 2015; Edward Perkins of Mays Landing, construction manager, facilities management, effective May 27, 2015; In other action: The board accepted the resignation of Beth Leahey, assistant professor, nursing, effective June 30, 2015; The board accepted the resignation of Michelle Rehill, temporary office assistant, resource development, office of the president, retroactive to May 8, 2015; The board approved a leave of absence for Leila Crawford, assistant professor, English, effective August 24, 2015 through May 20, 2016.

Atlantic Cape Community College's board of trustees met July 23 and approved personnel matters, contracts and purchases. In Personnel Action: The board approved these appointments: Andre Richburg of Hackettstown, director, Recruitment and Admissions, effective Aug. 6. Linda Palmer of Hammonton, director, Worthington Atlantic City Support Services, effective Aug. 5. The board accepted the resignation of Alonna Brown of Philadelphia, assistant director, Student Support Services, effective July 26.
