The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers announced the creation of a new Global Customer Service team. The centralization of all global customer service support functions into a single global unit will deliver a customer service experience that will result in rapid resolution of customer inquiries. DeDe Burns has been appointed to the newly created role of Vice President, Global Customer Services and will lead the Global Customer Service Team. She will report to ASCAP COO Brian Roberts, recently hired by Matthews in March.

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) has announced that Clara Kim has been appointed as the organisation's new Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Her tenure will commence on 1 June 2015. Kim follows Elizabeth Matthews as General Counsel, who was named CEO in January 2015. In her current profile, Kim will oversee all legal and business affairs of ASCAP, managing its legislative team, internal and outside legal services as well as business affairs in all areas of ASCAP's global operations. Before joining ASCAP, Kim served as EVP, Business and Legal Affairs for National Geographic Channels US and International, where she was responsible for their domestic and international businesses.
ASCAP Promotes Christine Pepe as Business and Legal Affairs Vice President

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) announced the promotion of Christine Pepe as business and legal affairs vice president. Previously, she held the role of business and legal affairs AVP. Pepe will continue to look after the structuring and negotiation of a wide variety of licenses and other agreements on behalf of ASCAP. She will also provide legal and business support to The ASCAP Foundation and The ASCAP Legislative Fund for the Arts. In 2008, Pepe joined ASCAP as director of legal affairs. In the past she has worked with McDermott, Will & Emery at the New York Office and practiced copyright and entertainment law.
