Milsco Manufacturing Unveils Innovative New Seating Lines

Milsco Manufacturing introduced two new product lines that deliver improved style, comfort and performance over previous generations. The introductions come as part of a robust product innovation initiative intended to reflect "voice of the customer" while reinforcing Milsco's leadership position. The new lines include the Phoenix, a next-generation static seat for the residential turf care market, and the VersaStyle(TM) seat series, which includes VersaCompact(TM) (replaces the 5,300 seat), for the compact construction, material handling and commercial turf care markets; Versa Z, for zero turn radius mowers; VersaMax(TM), for mid-range construction equipment; and VersaPremium(TM), for heavier agricultural and construction equipment. Seats in the VersaStyle line are the first to offer Milsco's new, innovative and proprietary mechanical and air suspension systems. Standard features include backrest adjustment, lumbar control options and an intelligent ride indicator. Optional features include logo, backrest extension, heated seats and more. Technical details include: VersaCompact: This compact suspension seat is designed and validated to meet North American and European vibration and safety standards -- EN13490-IT1 & IT2, ISO 7096, EM8 and EM9. VersaZ: Built as a static seat, VersaZ offers an optional in-seat dynamic tensioning suspension. VersaMax: This seat provides enhanced stroke (130-150mm) and higher SIP (325mm), and is designed and validated to meet North American and European vibration and safety standards -- EN13490-IT1 & IT2, ISO 7096, EEC 78/764, AG I, AG II, AG III, EM5, EM6, EM8 and EM9. VersaPremium: This seat provides enhanced stroke (150-176mm) and higher SIP (350mm). VersaPremium is offered as a mechanical, air and semi-active mechanism adding EM3 and is designed and validated to meet North American and European vibration and safety standards -- ISO 7096, EM3, EEC 78/764, AG II and AG III. The Phoenix and VersaStyle seats have been met with enthusiasm among customers and the industry alike after previewing prototypes at CeMAT (Hannover, Germany) in May and the Green Industry & Equipment Expo (Louisville, Kentucky) in October. Phoenix and VersaStyle seats will begin appearing on customer products in late 2014.
