The Conference Board Elects Jack A. Hockema as Board of Trustees

The Conference Board announced the election of Jack A. Hockema, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Kaiser Aluminum, to its board of trustees. Mr. Hockema served as President of Kaiser Aluminum from October 2001 to December 2015. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of Kaiser Aluminum and President of Kaiser Aluminum Fabricated Products.

The Conference Board Governance Center Appoints Douglas K. Chia as Executive Director

The Conference Board Governance Center announced that Douglas K. Chia will join as Executive Director of the company, effective February 2016. In this role, Mr. Chia will lead the Center in its work in the public interest to provide organizations with knowledge and thought leadership on key issues of corporate governance. He is replacing Donna Dabney, who is retiring. Chia presently serves as Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Johnson & Johnson.

The Conference Board Announces Executive Changes

The Conference Board announced Roger W. Ferguson, Jr., President and CEO, TIAA-CREF, has been elected Chairman of the board of trustees. Mr. Ferguson succeeds Alan M. Dachs, President and CEO of the Fremont Group, who served as chairman for five years. Mr. Dachs will assume the role of Chair Emeritus. Ilene S. Gordon, Chairman, President and CEO, Ingredion Incorporated, has been elected vice chair of the board of trustees.
