Peconic Bay Medical Center announced that Amy E. Loeb, EdD(c), MBA, RN-BC, NE-BC has been selected to be the next Vice President-Chief Nursing Officer effective December 2015. Ms. Loeb will succeed Gerard Zunno, RN, MSN who will be retiring at year end after 14 years of dedicated service and key leadership at PBMC. Ms. Loeb has served as Vice President for Allied Health at Huntington Hospital where she oversaw the patient experience, quality of care, caregiver engagement, operational and financial performance of the Radiology, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy and Case Management departments. Since becoming a registered nurse in 2003, Amy has been a transformational leader in the North Shore/LIJ Health System.
