National Association Of Broadcasters Announces Executive Appoints to NAB Radio Board

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced that NAB Radio Board Chairman Don Benson named five appointees to the NAB Radio Board, with the approval of the NAB Joint Board Chairman Charles Warfield. Filling five vacancies on the Radio Board and appointed to two-year Board seats effective June 2015 are: Caroline Beasley, Executive Vice President and CFO of Beasley Broadcast Group; Naples, FL John Dickey, Executive VP of Content and Programming of Cumulus Media Inc; Steve Fisher, CFO and EVP of Operations of Entercom Communications; Bala Cynwyd, PA Scott Herman, Executive VP of Operations of CBS Radio; Jeff Warshaw, CEO of Connoisseur Media LLC.

Larry Wert Joins Board of TV Directors At National Association of Broadcasters

Tribune president of broadcast media Larry Wert has been appointed to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Board of TV Directors with immediate effect. Wert replaces Northwest Broadcasting CEO Brian Brady in the Fox affiliate board seat. Wert was appointed to his position at Tribune in February 2013. He is responsible for directing the strategy and operations of Tribune's 39 local television stations and Chicago radio stations WGN and WGWG. Wert serves on the Board of Directors for several charities including the Museum of Broadcast Communications, the Children's Brittle Bone Foundation, Catholic Charities, the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and the 100 Club.
