Social Solutions and Mathematica Policy Research Form Partnership to Pilot Rapid-Cycle Evaluations
Mar 18 14
Social Solutions Global, Inc. and Mathematica Policy Research announced a partnership to develop and deliver Rapid Cycle Evaluation (RCE) services to health and human services organizations. The partnership comes in response to the White House Office of Management & Budget's Evidence and Innovation Agenda Memo of July 2013, which recommends RCE as a strategy to deliver a 'smarter, more innovative and more accountable government'. RCE provides decision-makers with timely, actionable and compelling evidence of whether operational changes improve program outcomes. Many operational changes can be tested in a matter of months. RCE employs a rigorous, scientific approach, meaning decision-makers can have a high degree of confidence in the results. By testing changes with this short-term, low-cost approach, RCE also can help agencies avoid substantial investments in changes that turn out to have no impact.
