National Association of Home Builders Elects Ed Brady as First Vice Chairman

Ed Brady, a Bloomington, Ill.-based builder and developer was elected as the 2015 first vice chairman of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) during the associations International Builders Show in Las Vegas. Brady is president of Brady Homes. Brady has been active in the NAHB leadership structure at the local, state and national levels throughout his career. He has served on the NAHB Board of Directors for more than 10 years and has been a member of the NAHB Executive Board since 2005. Brady will become chairman of NAHBs Board of Directors in 2016.
The National Association of Home Builders Promotes Geoff Cassidy to Senior Vice President of Exhibitions and Meetings

The National Association of Home Builders announced the promotion of Geoff Cassidy to senior vice president of exhibitions and meetings. This new position will oversee the activities related to NAHBs signature annual event, the International Builders Show (IBS). It will handle all logistics and show operations, exhibit sales, and logistics for the board of directors meeting held in conjunction with the Builders Show. The position also manages board of directors meetings, conferences, education programming and other association events throughout the year. Cassidy has served in various positions of increasing responsibility in his 20 years at NAHB. He has been involved with trade show operations since 2000. Most recently, he was vice president of meetings and convention operations. He succeeds Mark Pursell, who left NAHB for a leadership position at another association earlier this year.
