Hart InterCivic hired Julie Mathis to be its Chief Financial Officer. Julie is highly accomplished in progressive finance leadership, most recently serving as Vice President of Finance at Dell. As CFO, Mathis will oversee the controller, finance, human resources, information systems and analytic functions. Mathis joins Hart with over 20 years' experience in a multitude of executive positions, supporting sales, operations, and corporate functions while based in the United States, Europe and Asia. Previously, she held positions at Arthur Andersen and at Century Telephone Company.
Cherokee Nation Election Commission Selects Hart InterCivic as its Vendor

Hart InterCivic announced the Cherokee Nation's purchase of the Hart Voting System. The Cherokee Nation Election Commission unanimously voted to contract with Hart as their vendor in the hope of running their own independent elections by 2015. The deal is valued at over $200,000. The Election Commission had hired outside vendors to run and support their elections lifecycle in years past. After consideration the commission found that purchasing their own election equipment would be a more viable long-term investment for the future.
