Wingstop Restaurants Opens New Location in St. Francis

Wingstop Restaurants Inc. has flown to St. Francis, opening a new location at 2300 E. Layton Ave., inside a retail center that formerly housed Blockbuster Video. The company opened its first Milwaukee store in 2011, and has moved quickly to establish its brand in the area under local franchisee Kurt Hodermann. Its St. Francis location is operated under the ownership of franchisees Hodermann and Heather Mitsch. The new location is near the northeast corner of General Mitchell International Airport. Wingstop's menu features cooked-to-order traditional and boneless wings, as well as strips, sauced with mango habanero, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan and other flavors. The St. Francis Wingstop is open daily from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. announced that it has appointed Jay Young to the position of General Counsel. Young joins Wingstop during a year of record-setting growth and will serve on the company's executive leadership team reporting directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Charlie Morrison. Young brings more than 18 years of legal expertise to Wingstop, including an extensive background in the restaurant and financial services industries. Before joining Wingstop, Young served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for CEC Entertainment (Chuck E. Cheese), a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. Prior to CEC Entertainment, Young was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Wachovia, a Wells Fargo Company, for seven years, and Assistant General Counsel at UBS. He received a Bachelor's in economics from Southern Methodist University, as well as a dual J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma. Young will be responsible for supporting the continued growth of the Wingstop brand both domestically and internationally.
