Mission Pharmacal Company and Europa Sports Products of Charlotte Sign Distribution Agreement for COMPETE Energy Bites

Mission Pharmacal Company and Europa Sports Products of Charlotte signed an agreement effective as of September 17 for Europa to distribute Mission's COMPETE energy bites to fitness centers and select other retail outlets nationally. This dietary supplement provides 135 mg. of energy-boosting caffeine or the equivalent of a 12 oz. cup of premium coffee in a great-tasting chew. They offer a bite-sized punch of power to enhance performance and fight fatigue. With only 45 calories, COMPETE energy bites eliminate the need to consume chalky energy bars or medicinal-tasting energy drinks. COMPETE energy bites were successfully test marketed in leading fitness centers and health clubs, including Bally Total Fitness(TM), Crunch Fitness, and XSport Fitness facilities, in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago during the second half of 2013 and early 2014. More than 100 facilities already offer COMPETE in these three major test markets, and additional outlets and markets are being added quickly through the agreement with Europa. COMPETE energy bites have been developed and introduced by West Dakota, LLC, Mission's marketing partner in the United States. While the U.S. is the current area of focus for COMPETE energy bites, Mission Pharmacal is committed to broadening this footprint and also seeks international partnership opportunities. This is evidenced by a successful U.K. pilot and current product rollout for COMPETE energy bites and a recent distribution agreement between Mission and West Dakota, U.K. Limited, to further expand in the U.K.
