Maurice Jones was named as president and CEO of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation. The LISC board unanimously selected Jones, who currently serves as Virginia's Secretary of Commerce and Trade. He replaces Michael Rubinger, a community development pioneer, who will step down on September 6, 2016 when Jones takes over.

LISC Announces Management Changes

Laura Bray resigned her position as executive director of the LISC Milwaukee office this month. Bray was hired in August to lead the local neighborhood development organization, filling a role that Leo Ries held for 15 years. Bray for 10 years led Menomonee Valley Partners Inc. and served for about a year as CEO of BioForward. Chuck Vliek, a program vice president in LISC's national office, will serve as interim executive director in Milwaukee.

Bray has a 20 year career in community and economic development, and served as the executive director for Menomonee Valley Partners Inc. from 2004-2014. Laura Bray follows Leo J.
