John Kehriotis To Not To Make Bid For Sacramento Kings
Mar 29 13
John Kehriotis, minority owner of Sacramento Kings Limited Partnership, LP, has decided to not to make bid for the team. John told Business Journal, "One of my key investors dropped out." Kehriotis added, "That unnamed would-be investor still believed in the effort, but there was not enough time to get it done." John said on March 5, 2013, that he was very close to raising the money for his group's offer investors and he was going to try to buy the Kings as a minority owner with a right of first refusal. But John said that he needed to put offer by March 29, 2013. John said, "We're just running out of time. It's OK. Sacramento has a deal that hopefully will keep them in Sacramento. I put a lot of time, effort and energy. I'm sadly disappointed it didn't happen." However John added, "Sacramento still has a legitimate shot."
