Dayton Children’s Hospital announced Kelly Kavanaugh as the vice president of marketing and strategic planning. She is now a member of the hospital’s senior leadership team, guiding Dayton Children’s on its mission to remain an independent. Prior to joining Dayton Children’s, Kelly was a vice president at Reynolds and Reynolds. Kelly will assume many of the duties of outgoing vice president for strategic partnerships, Vicki Giambrone, who announced an early retirement in 2014.
Dayton Children's Hospital to Build $141 Million, Eight-Story Patient Tower on Downtown Campus

Dayton Children's Hospital is underway on its $141 million, eight-story patient tower on its downtown campus. The hospital broke ground last week on the 260,000-square-foot building, and unveiled renderings of the new tower. Construction is being managed by Danis Building Construction and FKP Architects is developing the long-range plan. Ruetschle Architects and Champlin Architects have teamed as architects of the project.
