Tutor Perini Corporation announced that its subsidiary, Lunda Construction Company, has been awarded three projects in Wisconsin and Minnesota collectively valued at approximately $319 million. Phase 1, Zoo Interchange, I-94/US 45, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, contract value is approximately $198 million (Lunda's portion: approx. $60 million) from Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Lunda is part of a three-member joint-venture team that will construct the first phase of the Zoo Interchange, consisting of 14 bridges, 21 retaining walls, 11 noise walls, along with other miscellaneous structures. Construction is expected to begin in October 2014 with substantial completion expected in June 2016; Highway 610 Completion to I-94, Maple Grove, Minnesota, contract value is approximately $81 million. Owner is Minnesota Department of Transportation. Design-build project consisting of the construction of nine bridges, three miles of four-lane freeway, the Maple Grove Parkway interchange, and 3,600 feet of new frontage road. Construction is expected to begin in September 2014 with substantial completion expected in October 2016; US 10/WIS 441 near Menasha, Wisconsin, contract value is approximately $40 million. Owner is Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Construction of a 22-span bridge over Little Lake Butte Des Morts along with other miscellaneous structures which are part of an ongoing upgrade of the WIS 441 corridor. Construction is expected to begin in September 2014 with substantial completion expected in November 2016.

Lunda Construction Company Receives $61 Million contract from Wisconsin Department of Transportation for Construction of DePere-Suamico

Lunda Construction Company has been awarded a contract by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for construction of the DePere-Suamico, Memorial Drive - CTH M, IH 43 Early Structures/Early Fill, USH 41 Project near Green Bay, Wisconsin. The contract is valued at approximately $61 million. The project's scope of work includes the construction of five new bridges, four retaining walls, and related grading and storm sewer work. Construction is expected to begin in September 2013 with substantial completion expected in May 2015. The contract value is expected to be included as part of the company's reported third-quarter backlog.

Lunda Construction Company Receives Contract of $130 Million

Tutor Perini Corporation announced that its subsidiary, Lunda Construction Company, has been awarded a contract by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to construct the Highway 41 DePere-Suamico Morris Avenue-Memorial Drive and Morris Avenue-Ninth Street Mainline Project near Green Bay, Wisconsin. The contract is valued at approximately $130 million. The project, which is part of WisDOT's Six Year Highway Improvement Program, will provide expanded traffic capacity through improved interchanges and additional lanes and roundabouts. The scope of work includes the construction of 19 bridges, 22 retaining walls, 7 noise barriers, and 26 sign structures, including related grading, storm sewer, pavement, and traffic signal work. Construction is expected to begin in August 2013 with substantial completion expected in mid-2016.
