Simmons Bank Names Mark Funke as President of the New Southwest Division

Simmons First National Corporation (Simmons or Company) and Southwest Bancorp Inc. (SBI) announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement and plan of merger (Agreement) under which Simmons will acquire all of the outstanding common stock of SBI in a transaction valued at approximately $564.4 million. Mark will be the President of the new Southwest Division of Simmons Bank and will be responsible for the banking operations in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and Kansas.

Simmons Bank Appoints Al Druso as Senior Vice President and Bank Card Manager

Simmons Bank has announced the appointment of Al Druso as senior vice president and bank card manager. Druso began his banking career with Society Bank in Cleveland. From 2000-03, Druso was the general manager of a credit card and merchant center for Marshall & Ilsley Corp. - Metavante. He was responsible for more than 225 employees servicing almost 350 financial institutions across the country. In 2003, Druso became the first vice president of card services for First Financial Bank of Cincinnati. He managed debit card products, credit card products, ATMs and merchant services. He worked for First Financial until joining Simmons earlier this month.
