On January 15, 2016, David L. Bartlett retired as President and Chief Banking Officer of the Simmons First National Corporation and as Director of the Company and Simmons First National Bank. While Mr. Bartlett has agreed to make himself available for consultation as requested, he has elected not to enter into any formal relationship with the Company for continued service. On January 20, 2016, the Board of Directors of Simmons First National Corporation appointed Patrick A. Burrow to the position of Corporate Secretary. Mr. Burrow also serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. J. Rodney West has been named Fort Smith community president for Simmons First National Bank. West, who has long been active in business and civic affairs in the Fort Smith area, will replace Mike Flynn when Flynn retires at the end of the year. West began his banking career with American State Bank in 1994. West served as the vice president of finance for General Pallets Inc. of Fort Smith from 2010-12 between stints in the banking industry. West is a member of the Fort Smith Boys and Girls Club Alumni Board and the Children's Emergency Shelter Board.
