Indiana State University is creating a new Division of University Engagement to oversee its nationally recognized commitment to community engagement and experiential learning. Indiana State University said that Nancy Rogers, who has served as associate vice president for community engagement since 2009, will be promoted to vice president for university engagement, effective May 1, 2015.

Taylor recently retired from Pearson Plc, where he held a number of leadership positions within the company including Senior Vice President of U.S. Government Policy and Investor Relations.

Indiana State University's Bayh College of Education Launches the Inaugural Indiana Principal Leadership Institute

Indiana State University's Bayh College of Education launched the inaugural Indiana Principal Leadership Institute with 57 Hoosier public school principals in attendance. The Indiana Principal Leadership Institute is a two-year experience designed to address the professional needs of Indiana public school principals with an emphasis on student success. The institute will increase a principal's ability to address the current needs of their schools, such as teacher evaluation models, student performance, community involvement and shaping a strong school culture. The principals also will develop and implement personal and school improvement plans, facilitate action research projects at each school, refine school improvement plans and build a network of other principals to gain support during and beyond the institute experience.
