Washington College Appoints Sheila C. Bair as a President, effective from August 01, 2015

Sheila C. Bair has been appointed as a president of Washington College in Chestertown, Md. Bair is the first woman to lead the private, independent liberal arts college with an enrollment of about 1,400. She was a faculty member in the Isenberg School from 2000-06, when she appointed to head the FDIC by President George W. Bush. She will take office at Washington College on August 01, 2015.

Washington College Appoints Jack S. Jay Griswold as Interim President

Washington College named Baltimore businessman Jack S. Jay Griswold as interim president. Griswold will take over for Mitchell B. Reiss, who will depart the Chestertown liberal arts college in late August to become president of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Virginia.
