Dominion announced that Brian C. Sheppard, managing director-Pipeline Operations for Dominion Transmission, will be promoted to vice president-Pipeline Operations upon the retirement of Jeffrey L. Barger, effective April 1, 2014. Sheppard will be based in Clarksburg, W.Va., and report to Diane Leopold, senior vice president-Dominion Transmission. Sheppard, who joined CNG Transmission in 1988 as a production engineer, has held many positions in his 25-year career with the company. In 2003 he was responsible for operations at the Hastings Extraction Plant. In 2009, he was promoted to managing director-Planning & Development in Dominion Exploration & Production. He returned to Dominion Transmission in 2010 as managing director-Pipeline Operations where his responsibilities include NGL Operations, Gas Control, Compression Services, Operations Support, Safety and Technical Training.

Dominion Transmission, Inc. announced U.S. Department of Energy granted request, filed May 6, 2013, by the company to begin construction of the TL-615 Pipeline and associated facilities in Greene County, Pennsylvania, as part of the Tioga Area Expansion Project in the above-referenced docket. In considering this notice to proceed, U.S. Department of Energy has reviewed DTI's Implementation Plan filed on March 11, 2013, as supplemented, which included the information necessary to meet the pre-construction conditions of the March 8, 2013 Commission Order Issuing Certificate (Order) to DTI authorizing the Tioga Area Expansion Project. In addition, U.S. Department of Energy has confirmed the receipt of all other federal authorizations relevant to the approved activities herein.
