Wichita State University Names Shelly Coleman-Martins as New Chief Marketing Director

Wichita State University has appointed Shelly Coleman-Martins to the newly-titled position of executive director of university marketing in Strategic Communications. She replaces Barth Hague, who until October held the same position under the title of chief marketing officer and associate vice president for strategic communications. Coleman-Martins' responsibilities will include WSU's branding, marketing and communications staff, according to the WSU statement. Her current job is as international marketing manager-agriculture at Koch Agronomic Services. Her role there promote five brands across multiple countries and languages, working with a network of global marketing agencies. Previous jobs include serving as director of marketing for WSU's Rhatigan Student Center, and director of creative services for the Coleman Co. before that company's headquarters moved from Wichita to Denver.
Wichita State University Appoints Dennis Livesay as Associate Vice President of Research and Technology Transfer, Effective April 1

Wichita State University has named Dennis Livesay its new Graduate School dean and associate vice president of Research and Technology Transfer, effective April 1.
Livesay is a professor of bioinformatics and genomics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is the founding director of high-visibility programs, including the bioinformatics and computational biology doctoral program and the Charlotte Research Scholars summer program. He received his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000 and joined the chemistry faculty at California State Polytechnic University at Pomona immediately after.
Wichita State University Appoints David Moses as New WSU General Counsel

Wichita State University announced that David Moses will be named University's new general counsel. More recently, Moses has been in private practice with Moses & Pate, which formed last year after the partners in Case, Moses & Zimmerman went their separate ways.
