Wichita State University has announced that it has hired Judy Espinoza to be its next director of human resources. Espinoza comes to WSU from Via Christi Health, where she had been the chief human resources officer. She will take over at the university for Frankie Kirkendoll, who is retiring at the end of June.
Wichita State University Appoints Samuel Brown as Director of the Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs

Wichita State University announced that it has named Samuel Brown as the new director of the Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs. He will succeed Nancy McCarthy Snyder in that role once he begins in July 2016. An educator and researcher with more than 25 years of experience, Brown is currently a professor at the University of Baltimore's College of Public Affairs.
Wichita State University Names Eric King as Associate Vice President of Facilities, Effective March 14, 2016

Wichita State University announced that it is moving Eric King into an expanded role. King, who has been the university's director of facilities planning, has been promoted to Associate Vice President for facilities. With the expanded role, King will oversee all aspects of the university's physical plant departments, which include construction, maintenance and repair and buildings and grounds. The change is effective March 14 and is part of an organizational restructuring that coincides with the phased retirement of Mary Herrin, the university's vice president of administration and finance. WSU's physical plant director Woodrow DePontier will report to King when he takes on the associate vice president role. King came to Wichita State in 2014 to be part of the implementation of the university's innovation campus plan. Construction on the first two innovation campus buildings is under way.
