Columbia St. Mary's Announces Management Changes

Travis Andersen, who worked for Columbia St. Mary's corporate sister Ministry Health Care, has been named president and CEO of Columbia St. Mary's health system in Milwaukee. Andersen will start his new role Aug. 4. He replaces Mark Taylor, who retired at the end of June. Andersen has been president of St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, which is part of Milwaukee-based Ministry Health Care and oversaw Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. Andersen moved to Wisconsin in 2001 to work for Affinity Health System, which Ministry Health Care bought in 2012. Prior to that, Andersen was an area manager with John Deere Health of Moline, Ill.

ProHealth Care and Columbia St. Mary's Joint Venture Decide to go Different Ways

ProHealth Care and Columbia St. Mary's have decided to go different ways in seeking outside expertise for heart surgery. ProHealth Care announced that it will work with Indiana University Health to bring a world class cardiothoracic surgery program to ProHealth patients. Columbia St. Mary's on confirmed that it will partner with Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa.
