University of Maine System Selects TIAA-CREF as Sole Recordkeeper

TIAA-CREF announced that the University of Maine System has chosen the financial services provider as the sole recordkeeper of its 403(b), 401(a) and 457(b) retirement plans, which cover approximately 5,000 active participants and $1.2 billion in assets. By working with TIAA-CREF under a sole recordkeeping agreement, the University of Maine System will be able to look deeply into its plan's management and accounting practices and better monitor online enrollment, salary deferral agreements, plan sponsor calculated eligibility, contribution limits, hardship withdrawals, auto-enrollment and savings rates for all participants. University of Maine System plan members will benefit from a revamped investment menu with six TIAA-CREF annuity options, online access to their account information and personalized financial advice available in person and via phone and web.

University of Mount Olive Selects TIAA-CREF as Sole Recordkeeper of Retirement Plan

TIAA-CREF announced that the University of Mount Olive (UMO) has selected the company to be sole recordkeeper of its 401(k) retirement plan. TIAA-CREF previously record-kept a portion of the UMO's 401(k) plan.
