C.R. England announced the hiring of Kirk Freimuth as President of the company's Dedicated Division. Mr. Freimuth returns to C.R. England where he had previously worked since 2005. Mr. Freimuth rejoins C.R. England after serving for three years as Senior Vice President at NFI in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

C.R. England announced that effective immediately, Brandon Harrison will assume the role of Chief Sales Officer. In addition to his duties overseeing National, Regional, and Mexico Divisions, Brandon will now also manage all Corporate Sales and Marketing functions. Mr. Harrison has been with C.R. England since 2003, serving in a number of roles including Co-Chief Operations Officer; President and Vice President, National and Regional Divisions; Operations Manager; Senior Operations Manager of the Dedicated Division; and Director of National Fleet Operations. He was named Co-Chief Operating Officer in May 2013 with specific oversight for the National, Regional, and Mexico Divisions as well as for Safety and Compliance. The company also announced David Kramer, Executive Vice President of Corporate Sales has left C.R. England to pursue other opportunities.
C.R. England Introduces 2016 Western Star 5700 XE Tractors

C.R. England announced the introduction of 2016 Western Star 5700 XE tractors into their fleet. Starting in July and then over the next several months, almost 200 new units will be put into service in the C.R. England fleet, with tenured solo and team drivers and million miler drivers the first to receive the Western Star vehicles. Tenured Independent Contractors with lease availability will also be offered the option on new units. These tractors feature woodgrain and leather interiors and a Detroit Powertrain. This combines the DD15 with the direct drive DT12 automated shift transmission to provide one of the industry's most efficient powertrain packages. In addition, these trucks come with many safety features including forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise, and hillstart technologies. The Western Star 5700 XE has been designed to increase efficiency and to reduce the total cost of ownership.
