William A. Gray, MD, an interventional cardiologist and nationally recognized leader in endovascular and structural cardiac medicine, has been appointed System Chief of the Division of Cardiovascular Disease at Main Line Health. He succeeds Peter Kowey, MD, who provided tremendous leadership in this role for more than 25 years. Dr. Gray has also been named the first president of Main Line Health's Lankenau Heart Institute, the System's comprehensive cardiovascular medicine and surgery program. In his new role, Dr. Gray will continue to strengthen and enhance the medical and interventional programs offered through Lankenau Heart Institute, while preparing the cardiovascular division of Main Line Health for success in this dynamic health care landscape. In collaboration with specialists across the System, Dr. Gray will also lend his expertise in coronary, structural and endovascular interventions to expand the scope of advanced nonsurgical treatments. Dr. Gray will also be working closely with the Lankenau Institute of Medical Research (LIMR) on a variety of research projects. Dr. Gray has served in cardiovascular leadership roles for nearly 20 years, most recently as Director of Endovascular Services at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center.

Main Line Health has named Charles Antzelevitch, PhD, FACC, FAHA, FHRS, Executive Director of the Cardiovascular Research Program at Lankenau Institute for Medical Research and Director of Research at Lankenau Heart Institute. Dr. Antzelevitch is an internationally recognized expert in cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmia syndromes. In his new role at Main Line Health, he will assemble a cardiovascular research team of clinical investigators and basic scientists to advance understanding of the underlying mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmias and to translate these discoveries into novel approaches to therapy. Dr. Antzelevitch joins Main Line Health after more than 31 years as Executive Director, Director of Research, and Gordon K. Moe Scholar (endowed Chair in Experimental Cardiology) at the Masonic Medical Research Laboratory in Utica, NY. He also holds an academic appointment as Professor of Pharmacology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.

David BerkowitzDavid Berkowitz of Broomall, has over 35 years of experience in health care, particularly in the areas of technology evaluation, assessment and sales in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. He spent 18 years with ECRI Institute, where he was responsible for testing and evaluating health care technology, assisting health care facilities in making complex decisions and performing forensic analyses of accidents involving medical devices. He then moved on to Varian Medical Systems, where he spent 16 years managing strategic and national accounts and was Director of Sales in the Northeast Region. Albert RohrAlbert Rohr, MD, of Bryn Mawr, is Chief of Allergy and Immunology at Main Line Health and in private practice with Rohr and Columbo Asthma, Allergy and Immunology Specialists in Bryn Mawr. Jay SiegfriedJay Siegfried, MD, of Devon, is Chief of the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Main Line Health and Lankenau Medical Center (LMC).
