Texas Children's Hospital has named the leadership team for its new hospital in The Woodlands, as well as a new team for its west Houston campus. Michelle Riley-Brown has been named president, and Dr. Charles Hankins was named chief medical officer of Texas Children's Hospital The Woodlands. Riley-Brown has been in leadership roles with the Texas Children's system for more than 15 years and most recently served as president of Texas Children's Hospital West Campus. Hankins has more than 30 years of pediatrics practice experience, including 12 years with Texas Children's, and most recently served as chief medical of the system's West Campus. Meanwhile, Texas Children's Hospital West Campus named a new leadership team to replace Riley-Brown and Hankins. The hospital named Chanda Cashen Chacón president, Dr. Jeanine Graf chief medical officer and Dr. Allen Milewicz chief surgical officer. Chacón has been a leader in the Texas Children's system for more than 12 years, most recently as vice president of women's services at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women. Graf has been a pediatric intensive care physician for more than 20 years and has held leadership roles in the system for more than 17 years, most recently as medical director of Texas Children's pediatric intensive care unit. Milewicz also is an associate professor of pediatrics-surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.
Texas Children’S Hospital Appoints Benjamin L. Shneider as New Chief of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition

Texas Children’s Hospital announced that it has appointed Dr. Benjamin L. Shneider as the new chief of its Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Service. Shneider, whose appointment was effective January 1, was also appointed as professor of pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. Shneider’s clinical expertise includes liver disease in children with a particular focus on cholestatic liver disorders and portal hypertension. His current basic research focus is on intestinal gene regulation, while his translational and clinical research centers on pediatric liver diseases.
