Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas announced management changes. The search for Richard Fisher's replacement as president of the Bank appears to be gaining steam as his departure date looms next month, though few details are available. Matthew Rutherford, who until Friday was acting treasury undersecretary for domestic finance, was under consideration. Complicating matters perhaps is that two national searches are being conducted to replace Fisher and Charles Plosser, president of the Philadelphia Fed. Rutherford's name also was mentioned as a possible replacement for Plosser. Fisher, 65, will retire March 19. Plosser, 66, plans to retire March 1.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed Robert L. Triplett III as senior vice president. As senior vice president, Triplett will participate in overall management of the Bank. He is responsible for the Dallas Feds Banking Supervision, Credit, Risk, and Reserves Management, and Financial Industry Studies departments. Previously, Triplett served as vice president in the Banking Supervision Department. Triplett began his career at the Bank in 1993 as an intern in the Data Services Department before joining the Dallas Fed full time in 1995.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has announced the following promotions: Michael Johnson has been promoted to assistant vice president in the Banks Information Technology Group. He previously served as information technology officer. Johnson joined the Federal Reserve System as a supervisor in treasury relations at the St. Louis Fed in 1998 and moved to the Dallas Fed in 2009. Michael Ike Ikner has been promoted to operations officer and chief of police. Previously, he served as the law enforcement manager for the Eleventh Federal Reserve District. Prior to joining the Dallas Fed, he was the chief of police in College Station and retired as assistant chief of police at the City of Arlington where he oversaw the operations bureau and served as co-chair of the Super Bowl XLV Joint Operations and Crisis Management Center. Amy McGregor has been promoted to shared support services officer in the Dallas Feds Banking Supervision Department. She previously held management positions in the Information Technology Department. McGregor joined the Bank in 1999 as an IT budget analyst.
