LaSalle Investment Management (LaSalle) has partnered with Lowe Enterprises (Lowe) to develop IDEA1, an urban mixed-use project in the vibrant Upper East Village, the fastest growing area of downtown San Diego. LaSalle’s investment in the venture positions the project to move toward a fall 2015 construction start. The $90 million, six-story, 289,000 square-foot project is located on a full city block bounded by E, F, Park and 13th Streets. The site is strategically located within two blocks of two trolley stops, the New School of Architecture and Design and the future East Village Green community park. The team plans a mixed-use development complete with 300 multi-family housing units, ground floor retail and office space and subterranean parking. IDEA1 will be one of the first developments in the I.D.E.A. District, a 95 acre sustainable, mixed-use initiative spearheaded by I.D.E.A. Partners Pete Garcia and David Malmuth. The I.D.E.A. District vision is to develop an urban mixed-use district driven by a 21 century innovation and design jobs cluster, nourished by Educational institutions and enriched by the arts. I.D.E.A. Partners will work with LaSalle and Lowe on the development of IDEA1.
Lowe Enterprises and Aecom Capital Forms Joint Venture with Atlas Hotels, Inc. to Own, Operate and Reposition the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center

Lowe Enterprises and AECOM Capital have formed a joint venture with long-time property owner Atlas Hotels, Inc. to own, operate and reposition the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center in the Mission Valley area of San Diego. Lowe's hospitality management subsidiary, Destination Hotels & Resorts, has assumed management of the 954-room resort located at 500 Hotel Circle North. Located in the popular Mission Valley area, the hotel's two towers and three swimming pools, rose gardens, numerous fountains and outdoor seating areas are spread across the 40-acre property. The resort boasts the large convention facility in the San Diego area outside of downtown, with more than 200,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including the 41,000-square-foot Grand Exhibit Hall, and more than 50,000 square feet of outdoor event space. In addition, the property offers abundant recreation and dining options with the 14,000-square-foot Bella Tosca Day Spa with fitness center and three restaurants.

Morgan Asset Management, has acquired a two-building, 327,263-square-foot portfolio of suburban office properties in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. 5090 40(th) Street is located in the Paradise Valley area of Phoenix, and Scottsdale Financial Center III is located at 7272 E. Indian School Road in Scottsdale. The 152,077-square-foot Scottsdale Financial Center III is located in the heart of downtown Scottsdale, within walking distance of world-class shopping, multiple restaurants, Scottsdale Stadium -- the spring training home of the San Francisco Giants -- resorts and golf courses. The building has five levels of office space with multi-level underground parking garage. The recently renovated lobby includes marble floors, an inviting seating area and an interactive directory.
