INTEGRIS Health announced that David R. Hadley will be the health system’s new managing director and chief financial officer. Hadley currently serves as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Via Christi Health, headquartered in Wichita, Kan. Via Christi is affiliated with Ascension Health. Hadley will begin his tenure at the company February 3, 2014. He will succeed Wentz Miller, who announced his retirement earlier the year 2013.

INTEGRIS Health Edmond launched a new system to help improve heart attack patient outcomes. The LIFENET System, from Physio-Control, Inc., is the first web-based data network of its kind, offering emergency medical services (EMS) and hospital teams tools to work together to help improve clinical and operational efficiencies. INTEGRIS Health Edmond's use of the LIFENET System has the goal of reducing time to treatment, known as door-o-balloon time (D2B), for patients who experience a dangerous type of heart attack known as STEMI.

INTEGRIS Health announced a clinical affiliation with Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton which allows health care providers of both organizations to work collaboratively to ensure the most comprehensive continuum of care for patients and customers across southwestern Oklahoma. INTEGRIS becomes Comanche County’s preferred provider for health care services and procedures not available in the local community. It is not unusual in the current era of health reform for independent hospitals and systems to work together to ensure the highest quality care. Leadership from Comanche County and INTEGRIS will work together to explore shared business service opportunities, greater clinical and care coordination, as well as physician integration opportunities.
