Clark University Announces Executive Changes

Clark University has been named as the next executive vice president and treasurer of Clark University. Ms. Dolan comes to Clark from Fairfield University in Connecticut, where she has held the position of vice president for finance and treasurer since 2010. Prior to working at Fairfield, she was associate vice president for fiscal affairs at Dartmouth College, and held positions at Vanderbilt University and Harvard University. Ms. Dolan replaces James E. Collins at Clark, who is retiring.

Clark University Appoints Julie Dolan as Executive Vice President and Treasurer

Fairfield University President Jeffrey von Arx, S.J., announced that two members of Fairfield's senior management team have accepted leadership positions at other higher educational institutions. Julie Dolan, Vice President for Finance and Treasurer of the University, has accepted an appointment as Executive Vice President and Treasurer at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Ms. Dolan, who will join the company in mid-August, joined the Fairfield administration in the summer of 2010, from Dartmouth College where she served for nine years as Associate Vice President for Fiscal Affairs. Prior to that she held administrative and finance positions at Vanderbilt University, Harvard University and Tufts University.

Clark University Names Michelle Bata as Associate Dean and Director of it's New LEEP Center

Clark University has named Michelle Bata as associate dean and director of the university's new LEEP Center. Ms. Bata will lead a team of advisers who help students plan their educational programs at Clark. Previously, Ms. Bata was assistant dean and director of undergraduate research at Fordham University in New York, a position she had held since 2009.
