Coborn’s, Inc. has committed to strengthening and enhancing its fresh offerings by placing key leaders in strategic roles. District Manager Emily Coborn has taken on the company’s new role of Vice President of Fresh Merchandising, reporting to Executive Vice President of Sales Greg Sandeno. In this role, Coborn oversees the Produce, Bakery, Deli, and Meat and Seafood departments, as well as the company’s growing team of supermarket dietitians. Prior to this new role, Coborn was a District Manager, overseeing 10 stores across Minnesota. Director of Meat and Seafood Mike Richter was promoted to Senior Director of Meat, Seafood and Fresh Merchandising, where he oversees the Meat and Seafood Merchandising department, while also serving as a valued mentor to other fresh merchandising leaders. He now reports to Vice President of Fresh Merchandising Emily Coborn. Tom Williams recently joined Coborn’s as Director of Produce and Floral Merchandising. Williams most recently served as Manager of Corporate Retail Produce and Floral at SpartanNash Company.
