Tendeka Wins $5 Million Contract from PDO

Tendeka has announced two significant contracts for its zonal isolation and inflow control technology in the Middle East. Following a highly successful initial contract period Tendeka has been re-awarded the contract to supply PDO with swellable solutions for all fields in Oman. The USD 5 million PDO contract will span five years with an optional two-year extension the company said in a statement on its website. In a separate award and following work on previous contracts including fibre optic monitoring and both swellable and mechanical zonal isolation solutions Tendeka will provide a major operator with inflow control device (ICD) completions and swellable packers in a deal worth up to USD 5 million.

In the Middle East, Tendeka has declared 2 major deals for its zonal isolation and inflow control technology. The $5-million agreement will take 5 years, with an alternative 2-year expansion. Tendeka has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Scott Watters as chief operating officer and Annabel Green as chief technology officer. Scott in his previous roles served as Weatherford’s country manager for Saudi Arabia and executive director of Nobel Oil. Scott will be based in Tendeka’s Houston office. Annabel joined Tendeka in 2012 to drive the development of the company’s SigNet wireless intelligent completion technology before taking up a strategic role within the senior management team. Prior to joining Tendeka she had worked in numerous technical and management positions within the service sector with responsibility developing and commercializing sand face completion technologies.
