Outback Steakhouse Debuts Newest Restaurant in Somerville, Massachusetts

Outback Steakhouse is debuting its newest restaurant in Somerville, Massachusetts opening its doors at 11 a.m. on July 27, 2015. To show its support of the local community, a portion of the restaurant's opening day sales will benefit Best Buddies, which is dedicated to establishing a global network volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The restaurant will be the newest addition to Assembly Row and the first in the area to feature a new "Modern Australia" design both inside and out. To mark the official grand opening, the Somerville Outback restaurant is inviting local area residents to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Somerville Chamber of Commerce at 5:30 p.m. on July 27, 2015. The new restaurant will feature a "Modern Australia" design with decor that mirrors the indigenous flora and fauna, adventure, geography and leisure of modern day Australia. Guests will also enjoy a spacious, energetic bar area that includes a community table – a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy specialty beer, wine and hand-crafted cocktails. The new bar will also feature customized seating and furnishings. In addition to Outback's signature bold steak dinner entrees, the restaurant recently introduced new core menu innovations, including the new Wood-Fire Grilled Flat Iron Steak and Premium Sides, such as Steakhouse Mac & Cheese, Loaded Mash and Parmesan Fries. Plus, for a limited time, guests can enjoy the new Victoria's Filet®Mignon Portabella and the Outback Special® Sirloin Portabella starting at just $13.99. The Somerville Outback also features a wide variety of fast and affordable lunch combos, starting at just $6.99, such as the Aussie Steak Tacos or the new ½ Ribeye Melt. The newest Outback restaurant is located at 625 Grand Union Boulevard and is open from 11 a.m. – 12 a.m. Monday – Saturday and 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Sunday. Mobile's latest Outback Steakhouse(R) offers a taste of the new "Modern Australia." The new restaurant opens November 13 at 4017 Airport Boulevard and will replace the Outback at 901 Montlimar Drive, which closed Nov. 10. The new location is the first in the area to feature a new building design both inside and out. It will also serve lunch daily at 11:00 a.m. The new design features an outdoor patio with heavy timber detailing and louvers and screens. The dining room features decor that accents the indigenous flora and fauna, adventure and leisure of modern Australia. The energetic bar is a place to enjoy specialty beer, wine and hand-crafted cocktails with friends.
