Oklahoma State University announced the selection of Mark Blakeman, current president and CEO of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, to lead The McKnight Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to his three-year tenure leading the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Blakeman was the chief operating officer of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, where he worked for 15 years. He brings vast knowledge and direct experience overseeing large-scale construction projects, building programs and raising philanthropic support. As the Marilynn and Carl Thoma Executive Director, Blakeman will work with the McKnight Foundation Board of Trustees and provide strategic direction and oversight to The McKnight Center. His scope of responsibility will include branding and institutional visibility, revenue enhancement, strategic planning, outreach, governance and financial management.

The Oklahoma State University Board of Regents approved the appointment of Pamela Fry to serve as provost and vice president for academic affairs at OSU-Tulsa, in addition to her duties as associate provost and associate vice president for the Stillwater campus. She had been serving OSU-Tulsa on an interim basis in August. Fry has served as associate provost and associate vice president of undergraduate education at OSU since 2011. She served six years as dean of the OSU College of Education and three years as the head of the School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership at OSU. She also served as OSU's interim provost from 2013-2014.

Oklahoma State University has named Todd Misener as Chief Wellness Officer. Misener joins OSU from Western Kentucky University where he implemented growth of campus health and fitness programs from 1998 to 2016. Prior to his work at Western Kentucky, he helped with the campus health and fitness program at the University of Florida. As the Chief Wellness Officer, Misener will oversee on-campus wellness efforts as well as advise OSU-AandM system-wide wellness initiatives.
