Louisiana State University Names Jesse Downs as the New Director of Olinde Career Center

Louisiana State University's Division of Student Life and Enrollment announced Jesse Downs as the new director of the LSU Olinde Career Center. Downs is currently the associate director for talent development within the Olinde Career Center and will transition into her new position throughout the summer. She will assume her new role effective July 6. Downs has worked for the LSU Olinde Career Center for nine years. As director, she will build on her experience in career services and existing programs to further expand the Career Center and its engagement with students and employers. Downs is also committed to building strong partnerships across campus and the community to elevate career readiness and student success. Downs replaces Mary Feduccia, who is retiring after 18 years at Louisiana State University, 15 as director of the Career Center.
