Motive Television S.L. Signs Licensing Agreement with TELE System Electronic S.r.l

Motive Television PLC (Motive) announced that its subsidiary, Motive Television S.L. (Motive S.L.) has signed a software licensing agreement with TELE System Electronic S.r.l. (TSE). Under this agreement Motive S.L. will provide TSE with a limited, non-transferable and non-exclusive licence to use Motive's technology in the set-top boxes (STB's) sold by TSE to Mediaset in exchange for a licence royalty per unit. TSE will report quarterly on these sales and pay royalties based on this information. The new agreement covers licences for approximately 50,000 units that have been distributed to Mediaset for new customers of its Premium Play on-demand broadcast service which is enabled by Motive's Television's Anytime Anywhere (TVAA) technology. The agreement between Motive S.L. and TSE will continue to cover additional deliveries of STB's to Mediaset until 31 December 2014.
