Crius Energy Announces Rise Broadband as First Integrated Energy Platform Partner

Crius Energy Trust announced that Crius Energy Trust has entered into a three-year strategic agreement with Rise Broadband, to offer energy products to Rise's customers through the Energy Rewards Integrated Energy Platform jointly developed by Crius and Comcast. Platform offerings will be initially available to Rise Broadband customers in Illinois, Indiana and Texas with plans to offer the services throughout Rise's 16-state coverage area. Rise currently serves several hundred thousand rural and suburban homes and businesses with an innovative approach to fixed wireless high-speed internet and digital phone technology; offering a competitive choice with quality, affordable and reliable services. The Integrated Energy Platform leverages assets from both Crius and Comcast, including technology and resources, to provide partner customers with a holistic home energy solution that combines, among other products, electricity, natural gas and solar provided by Crius. As with the company's other exclusive partnerships, Crius will work closely with Rise to seamlessly onboard their customers with the new platform and will directly service and own all future energy customer relationships.

Rise Broadband Unveils New Small Business Services

In order to meet the needs of local retail, operations, consumer services and other businesses throughout its rural and suburban coverage area, Rise Broadband has introduced several new Small Business Services programs. Rise’s new Small Business platform delivers access, quality and reliability with: High-speed data – up to 50 megabits per second (Mbps). Businesses get more for less to stay connected with customers, vendors and others; Absolutely NO data caps; Plans start as low as $69.95 per month (taxes, fees and equipment not included); Affordable, reliable and hassle-free service for one or two digital phone lines; One-, two- and three-year service plans available.

Rise Broadband Expands Fixed Wireless Network in Ten Markets

Rise Broadband has expanded its communications network in ten market areas in conjunction with the Federal Communications Commission’s Connect America Fund program. As a result, more residents and businesses in these locales are able to get high-speed access to data, streaming, shopping and other on-line activities. Rise Broadband’s enhanced market areas include: Iowa: Bassett, Parkersburg, Sioux City; Texas: Burton, Corsicana; Nebraska: St. Libory, Columbus: Illinois: Manville, Coal City; and Kansas: Marion.
