Carimin Petroleum Bhd has entered into collaboration agreements (COAs) with Makamin Offshore Saudi Ltd. Co and Petro Allied International DMCEST to explore opportunities in Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Australia. Under the COAs, Carimin would provide its expertise in hook-up and commissioning (HUC) services; topside major maintenance (TMM); subsea inspection, repair and maintenance services, including chartering of marine vessels; and the provision of professional manpower.

The Board of Directors of Carimin Sdn. Bhd. declared a first interim single tier dividend of 1.00 sen per ordinary share in respect of the financial year ending June 30, 2015, payable on March 27, 2015, to all shareholders whose names appear on the register of members and record of depositors of the company on March 6, 2015.
The company also reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of MYR 52,976,000, profit before taxation was MYR 5,926,000 and profit attributable to equity holders of the parent was MYR 4,634,000 or 2.17 sen per basic share. The revenue was mainly derived from offshore hook up and commissioning (HUC) which contributed MYR 32.2 million or 61% of the total group revenue, the balance from manpower services. The profit before taxation recorded was mainly derived from the offshore hook up and commissioning activities.
For the six months, the company reported revenue of MYR 118,504,000, profit before taxation was MYR 13,355,000, and profit attributable to equity holders of the parent was MYR 10,163,000 or 5.26 sen per basic share. Net cash from operating activities was MYR 3,057,000. Purchases of property, plant and equipment was MYR 49,000.
