Constellation West on Winning Team for $496 Million Space and Missile Defense Command IDIQ

Constellation West announced it has been awarded the Space and Missile Defense Advisory and Assistance Services (SMDA2S) IDIQ from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command as a subcontractor to Boecore Inc. The contract has a ceiling value of $496 million over a five-year period. Constellation West will provide technical advisory assistance and operational support services for various USASMDC/ARSTRAT mission areas covered by the IDIQ, including missile defense, global strike, cyber operations, warfighter training, friendly force tracking and commercial imagery.
Constellation West and Harris IT Services Wins $3 Million USTRANSCOM COINS Contract

Constellation West announced it was awarded a $3 million software development and sustainment contract to support the U.S. Transportation Command's Commercial Operations Integrated System program (COINS). Harris IT Services, a division of Harris Corporation is a partner with Constellation West on the contract. COINS is a multiuser online information system supporting contracting, budgeting and analysis necessary for the financial management of the airlift augmentation program. Under the potential five-year contract, which includes one base year plus four option years, the Constellation West team will provide full life-cycle support, including operations, system maintenance, software updates and integration of new technologies for COINS. The work is being performed in O'Fallon, Illinois.
Constellation West Promotes Mark A. Redford to Director of Business Development

Constellation West announced that it has promoted Mark A. Redford to director of business development. In his new position, Redford will be responsible for providing business development support, contract execution, and defense and intelligence community subject matter expertise. Additionally, his key oversight responsibilities include strategic planning, business capture and proposal support, program management, pipeline development, and internal/external coordination. Redford previously held several leadership positions within the federal contracting and defense industries, including as program manager at CACI Federal. Before entering the private sector, Redford served for 27 years in the U.S. Air Force, completing his career as chief enlisted manager for the Air Force Weather Agency at Offutt Air Force Base. During his career he served in various positions at the wing, major command and air staff levels.
