Kumar Mangalam May Repotedly Sell Stake In Living Media India

Kumar Mangalam Birla may be planning to cash out his minority stake in Living Media India Limited and has hired Bank of America Merrill Lynch for the sale process, The Economic Times reported citing sources aware of the development. The option of selling the stake in Living Media India Limited back to the Purie family is also a possibility. A Birla Group spokeswoman refused comment on what she termed as "market speculation". The Bank of America Merrill Lynch spokesperson also declined to comment.

Living Media India Limited Forms JV with Hearst Corp; Appoints Sanjay Thapar as CEO of the Joint Venture

Living Media India Ltd. has formed a joint venture with Hearst Corp. to publish print and digital lifestyle magazines for the Indian market. The joint venture will publish magazine titles from Hearst as well as other publishers. The joint venture will be headed by Sanjay Thapar as CEO, who will be responsible for supervising all the editorial, business and staff of this joint venture. He will be reporting to Ashish Bagga. Prior to this, Thapar was serving as the Group CEO of WPP's creative agency Bates India.

Anil Mehra Retires as Whole-Time Director of Living Media India Limited
