Chinese Group Reportedly Is In Talks To Buy Unit of Caesars' Interactive Games

Caesars Acquisition Company (NasdaqGS:CACQ) is in exclusive talks to sell the online games business of Caesars Interactive Entertainment, Inc. to a Chinese consortium that includes Giant Interactive Group, Inc. Reportedly the deal could be valued more than $4.2 billion. According to Reuters, Hasbro Inc. (NasdaqGS:HAS) and Netmarble Games Corporation are also in the race to acquire the company.

Giant Interactive Group, Inc. is considering listing on the domestic market. Ji Xuefeng, President of the company stated that Giant is waiting for the right time to list on the domestic stock market with a market value “starting from CNY 100 billion".
