Verve Mobile Appoints Brad Herman as Chief Business Development Officer

Verve Mobile announced the appointment of Brad Herman to the newly created role of chief business development officer, effective immediately. In this key leadership role, Herman will report directly to Stirratt and will be responsible for Verve's go-to-market strategy and accelerating strategic partnerships and business development. Herman joins Verve from online video advertising platform Videology. As the company's chief media officer, Herman was responsible for all media operations, corporate development, product strategy, sales and publisher relations. Prior to Videology, Herman worked for Stirratt at MTV Networks, where he was senior vice president of digital operations. He will be based in Verve's Washington, D.C. office.

Verve Mobile announced the appointment of Nada Stirratt to succeed Tom MacIsaac as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Stirratt will be based in the company's New York City office, making the Chelsea location the company's official new headquarters. Most recently, Stirratt was Acxiom's first chief revenue officer, responsible for the company's global client-facing initiatives, including sales, account management, delivery, analytics and consulting.

In this role, Wade is responsible for growing the company's west coast sales organization in addition to driving strategic partnerships and strengthening Verve's customer base in the region. A seasoned entrepreneur and fundraiser, Wade currently advises startups funded by the esteemed Y Combinator program and most recently founded Marvelous Advisors.
