He steps into the position with more 27 years of admissions experience, 21 of them at Denison, having most recently served as senior associate director of admissions and director of external relations.

Denison University's Office of the Provost has announced that Dena Speranza will be the college's Chief Information Officer. Speranza will transition from her current position as Denison's interim CIO to her new role, January 12, 2015. Speranza also has served as a senior consultant with Centric Consulting, most recently in the business transformation area at Nationwide Insurance, and as principal consultant and chief operating officer at AWH. In her new role, Speranza will lead Denison's talented Information Technology Services team to optimize technology resources and processes, and assess these services regularly to promote continued delivery of exceptional service in its four divisions, which include educational technology services, enterprise applications, information technology security and technical services. In addition to her work, Speranza is enterprising in other activities, which include attaining her professional coach certification, mentoring start-up entrepreneurs, scuba diving, and volunteering at her church.
Denison University Appoints Michael Morris as Director of the Vail Series

Denison University announced that Michael Morris has been appointed as the new director of the Vail Series. Morris was the production manager for the series in 2012 and was named as interim director at the retirement of founding director Lorraine Wales in 2013, who had led the program from its inception in 1979.
