Tulane University Appoints Scottie Rodgers as Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Communications

Scottie Rodgers, who led sports communications for the Ivy League, has moved to Tulane University as associate athletic director for strategic communications. He takes over for Roger Dunaway, who stepped down last month after 10 years for the assistant director of PR slot on Tulane's campus. Rodgers will lead media and public relations, social media and overall communications for the New Orleans university and its Green Wave athletic program. Rodgers, a Univ. of Alabama grad, spent the last year at the Ivy League Office, handling communications strategy for its 33 sports and 15 championship events.

Satyajit Dattagupta has been named the new vice president of enrollment management at Tulane University, effective June 15, 2016. Dattagupta is currently vice president of enrollment management at Washington College Dattagupta was responsible for a dramatic increase in applications, enrollment, retention and selectivity at Washington College. Dattagupta succeeds Earl Retif.
