Montefiore Health System and Yeshiva University announced that they have finalized a new agreement for Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein), where Montefiore assumes operational authority and responsibility for Einstein, while Yeshiva remains responsible for academic oversight, including the granting of degrees. The agreement comes half a century after Yeshiva and Montefiore's landmark affiliation was forged to strengthen Einstein's excellence in science, education and clinical care.
